Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for servers, storages, SAN switch, Oracle Solaris systems, Microsoft and Linux Operation systems.
Responsible for managing Servers at DC and DR.
Implementation, Monitoring, solving, status performance checking Oracle Sparc servers, storages, SAN Switch, Oracle VMs, Microsoft servers and VMware Guest OS.
Support daily operations of servers and storages such as capacity management, performance monitoring, provisioning, and network systems connectivity.
Manage and administer servers and support application install such as MS-AD, DNS, FTP and Web.
Installation, configuration and maintenance of hard drives for HP/DELL/Cisco/Oracle Spec servers and storage.
Troubleshoot systems to identify and fix performance issues.
Execute hardware and software configuration, installation, patching, integration, upgrades and performance security tuning.
Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly with networking and the TCP/IP stack.
If require, perform MySQL, MariaDB Installation and Implementation.
Monitor and maintain backup processes such as tape libraries and external backups, resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a data center.
Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process.
Resolve the unexpected system issue with via remote VPN/On site x 24/7 availability.
Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and capacity planning for management.
Supervise and provide guidance to system engineers and support staff.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other equivalent in IT field (Certificate in MCSA, MCSE, RHCSA, RHCE, VCP is preferable!).
Have at least 5 years working experience as IT Technician or IT Engineer or relevant position.
Also have experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, Apache, NGINX).
Have experience in Microsoft/Linux/Unix/Solaris, storage and virtualization (working with Core banking Systems is more preferable!).
The ability to learn quickly and contribute to a team effort.
Computer literate and proficient in English and Myanmar.
