Assistant Vice President (Credit Underwriter)

Job Descriptions

• Perform credit underwriting of existing and potential Customers in accordance with credit policies, underwriting standards and regulations
• Assess financial conditions, repayment capacity, risks associated to it and if require, conduct business inspection
• Review and analyze loan documents, leases, sales agreements, appraisals and other related materials
• Research data to obtain information regarding current and projected status of business industries, borrowers and market trends to express its impact in underwritings
• Consolidate and verify the data accuracy of credit underwriting
• Takes ownership of the credit process, making decisions in the best interest of the customer and bank
• Advise loan structure, credit terms and conditions for optimal assets quality for the bank
• Communicate with Corporate RMs, branches and customers for understanding of customer and requested credit facilities
• Well-versed with different types of lending products, customer segments and business
• Utilizes Loan Originating System to prepare credit applications
• Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree holder in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Economics or related fields
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in underwriting and credit analysis, strong knowledge in Financial Analysis, Business and Economic Sectors and Laws
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Fluent in English for communication: reading, writing, speaking and listening
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, additional merits for Power BI
• Proactive, good teamwork and positive attitude
