Key Responsibilities
Monitor the macroeconomic landscape, global fintech advancements, and shifting consumer behaviors to identify white spaces for product innovation.
Conduct continuous benchmarking against peer banks and neo-banking alternatives, analyzing their product features, pricing structures, and go-to-market strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Compliance, IT, and Operations) to translate high-level innovation concepts into detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
Assess the viability of new product ideas against central bank underwriting standards, asset classification guidelines, and compliance frameworks to ensure “compliance-by-design.”
Design and execute primary/secondary market research, user surveys, and focus groups to validate product-market fit for prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
Build business cases, financial feasibility models, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed concepts to secure executive buy-in.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or Computer Science. An MBA or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CBAP, CFA) is a major plus.
Have 4 ~ 7 years of working experience in business analysis, market research, or corporate strategy, ideally within a commercial bank, financial consultancy, or fintech firm.
Strong understanding of core banking systems, lending architectures, digital onboarding (KYC/AML), and regulatory reporting.
Mastery of business analysis frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, Gap Analysis) and experience writing detailed BRDs/User Stories.
Advanced proficiency in Excel/VBA for financial modeling and data synthesis. Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), or market research databases is highly desirable.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative sandbox environment where requirements evolve rapidly.
Ability to connect micro-level customer pain points with macro financial trends.
Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical or regulatory limitations to non-technical creative teams, and vice versa.
