Eligibility

  • Resident (Individual)
  • Non-Resident Individual with permanent residence (PR).
  • Non-Resident Individual in employment secondment in Myanmar or having an apparent economic or commercial interest in Myanmar.
  • Private Limited Company registered with the ministry of Governing of concerned.
  • Must be an adult at the attainment of (18) years of age.

The applicant shall have email address and one account (Current/Savings Bank Account), (Individual or Joint account) within MAB except Saving Bank Minor Account and Fiduciary Account.

Types of Accounts in MAB iBanking

Six types of accounts can be used which are:

Services

  • Account enquirers –to perform enquires on your account balances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Pay Later Payment –set up future-dated payments to beneficiaries.
  • Standing Instructions –create your own regular payments from your accounts (for example, business day, weekly, and monthly.
  • Own Account Transfer –improve the efficiency of your cash management by moving funds from your main account to sub-accounts when the balance is below the minimum amount and transferring surplus funds of sub-accounts to the main account.
  • Internal Account Transfer –transfers funds to beneficiaries within the MAB banks and receive your funds.
  • Loan and Other deposit enquiries –view details of your loans and other deposit accounts.
  • Inward Remittance and Outward Remittance inquires –view details of the incoming TT and outgoing TT remittances.
  • Interest Rate Inquires –view the interest rate of the products
  • Cheque Status Inquires –views the interest rate of bank products and inquires your cheque status.
  • Cheque Book Request –request a new cheque book if your chequebook was gone.
  • Online Bank Statements –view account statement easily. You can download your transaction details in PDF or CSV format.
  • Apply for MPU card Request –request a new MPU card if you want to create MPU card.
  • Notifications –receive email/SMS alerts from activities of your accounts.
  • Change password –change your password whenever you like.
  • Pay roll services –transfer salaries to your employee’s savings/current or ATM accounts. (Corporate User Only)
