Duties and Responsibilities
The Learning & Development (L&D) Lead will lead MAB Bank’s strategic initiatives in talent development, leadership growth, and organizational capability building. This role is responsible for designing and implementing bank-wide learning strategies to support employee growth, and business success. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic candidate with deep expertise in adult learning principles and digital learning.
Design and implement a forward-thinking L&D strategy aligned with the bank’s business goals, culture, and talent needs.
Develop and manage leadership programs across all levels, including succession planning, executive coaching, and emerging leader programs.
Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of functional and soft-skills training programs (classroom, digital, and hybrid formats).
Work closely with Performance Management to link development plans to performance appraisals, career paths, and internal mobility.
Lead the transition to modern learning platforms and digital learning tools to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Track learning metrics use data to continuously improve learning outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
Lead and develop a high-performing L&D team; build capabilities of trainers, instructional designers, and facilitators.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Head.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business, or related field (master’s preferred).
Have minimum 7–8 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of implementing large-scale training and leadership programs.
Strategic thinker with ability to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
Fluent in English and Myanmar (both written and spoken).
