Assistant Vice President (Middle Office)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• An annual income of Target billion must be achieved.
• Monitor the fund position daily and oversee the deals to ensure the balance of buying and selling.
• The average rate of the closing fund position must be maintained at a minimum profit, ensuring it is lower than the current market rate.
• Daily trading records must be accurately reported.
• Provide the Online Trading Successful Outstanding List and follow up with dealers to ensure customers come and purchase promptly.
• Follow up with dealers to encourage exporters to come and sell quickly for forward buy deals.
• Supervise and verify the accuracy of buying and selling rates when processing transactions
• Oversee and verify FX transactions to ensure they are fast and have minimal errors.
• Supervise and ensure that transactions comply with CBM and accounting standard rules and regulations.
• Manage FX Operations and Customer Service to ensure there are no complaints from customers.
• Manage and ensure unity among team members and equitable distribution of work responsibilities.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or related field.
• Minimum (5) years of working experience in Foreign Exchange (FX), Treasury, Banking Operations, or related financial services field.
• Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange trading, fund management, and treasury operations.
• Good understanding of CBM (Central Bank of Myanmar) rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in supervising buying and selling transactions, exchange rates, and daily fund position management.
• Ability to monitor market trends and make timely decisions to maintain profitability and minimize risks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise dealers and operational staff effectively.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, especially in dealing with exporters, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet annual income targets and daily operational deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and banking/treasury management systems.
• Good command of English and Myanmar language (both written and spoken).
