Assistant Vice President (Card Issuing)

Main Duty and Responsibility

Lead the development, management, and growth of the Bank’s card products by driving product innovation, portfolio growth, marketing initiatives, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and card scheme requirements.

Job Description

• Serve as the Product Owner for Prepaid Card products, including product development, enhancement, launch, and portfolio growth.
• Lead card marketing campaigns, promotions, customer engagement, and branding activities in collaboration with the Customer Experience Management (CXM) team.
• Manage card rewards, loyalty programs, and merchant redemption initiatives to drive card usage and customer retention.
• Drive card portfolio growth and achieve assigned business and sales KPIs.
• Work closely with branches to increase card sales and customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to deliver product initiatives.
• Liaise with Visa, Mastercard, and service providers on product development, campaigns, and partnership programs.
• Monitor product performance, prepare business reports and management presentations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and card scheme rules.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• Minimum 6–8 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in Card Business, Product Management, or Consumer Banking.
• Business-level English communication skills.
• Experience with Visa and Mastercard products is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of card issuing and acquiring business.
• Good analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
