MAB auto loan is where MAB supports the customers to purchase vehicles without paying the total selling price in one lump.

MAB allows you to purchase from various brand new cars from our authorized dealers.
3. How can I know if I am eligible to apply for a MAB Auto Loan ?

4. Do the guarantor(s) need for Auto Loan application ?
Yes, it is but it depends on the customer’s documents requirement. (Final decision made by MAB will be validate.)
5. How can I pay my Auto Loan repayment?
We provide multiple channels for your loan repayment.
6. How long will it take to get the information on the applied Auto loan application whether it is approved or rejected?
Bank will inform the customer within 10 working days whether it is approved or rejected. However, according to the customer’s completed documents submission, the loan approval date may be deferred.
7. What are the customer’s requirements to apply for an Auto Loan application?

8. When will the customers get back the owner's book?
Once the customer has paid full repayment (Principal + Interest) to MAB Bank, the customer will get the ownership book.
9. Are there early repayment fees?
Yes, an early repayment fee of 1% is applicable on the repaid principal.
10. Is there late payment fee or penalty fee if I do not pay monthly payment by due date?
Yes, there are late payment fee and penalty fee and overdue amount will be charged by MAB.
11. What are the advantages of choosing MAB to apply Auto Loan Application?
12. How can I apply Auto Finance Loan from other showroom rather than bank’s dealers?
MAB only allows to apply Auto Finance Loan from our authorized dealers.
13. Which channel should I use to apply auto finance loan?
The customer should apply auto finance loan via MAB branches or authorized dealers.
14. How do I check the status of my Auto Finance Loan application?
The customer can check the status of Auto Finance Loan application by calling the MAB branches where they have submitted their loan application.

MAB home loan is where MAB supports the customers to purchase a residence without paying the total selling price in one lump.

MAB allows the customers to purchase a residence such as Condos/Apartments or landed properties from authorized developers.
3. What are the eligibilities to apply for a Home Loan?

4. Can the customer apply with a joint applicant for Home Loan?
Yes, any immediate family member with a regular income can be a co-applicant for Home Loan application.

The customer can make a phone call to bank and ask the information that they will need in the application process or The customer can make a phone call or go to the authorized developers to get detail about the home loan application.
10. Does the customer needs to give additional documents?
If the customer’s submitted documents are not covered enough for credit assessment, bank may ask customers to provide additional documents.
11. What are the types of Land that MAB accepts for a Home Loan?

The customer can apply the MAB Home Loan via MAB bank branches or from our authorized developers.
13. Do I need to have insurance for Home Loan and what type of insurance do I need to have for Home Loan?
Yes, the customer needs to have fire insurance from an insurance company authorized by MAB bank for Home Loan.
14. Are there any stamp duty and/or registration of Sales and Purchase Agreement that I need to pay as part of the loan process?
Yes, under the regulations of Internal Revenue Department, stamp duty shall be paid by the customer according to the rules and regulation of Internal Revenue Department and Sales & Purchase Agreement must be officially registered as a part of the loan process.
15. How can I know when to make monthly repayment on my Home Loan?
MAB will provide a monthly repayment schedule once the Home Loan application gets approval. It can be checked via ibanking.
16. What type of calculation method is used for MAB Home Loan?
Amortization method is used for MAB Home Loan.
17. What are the benefits of using an amortization schedule?
The benefit of using an amortization schedule is that the interest is calculated monthly on the remaining principal amount.
18. If I would like to ask for more details, how can I contact the bank?
If the customer would like to ask for more details, the customer can go to the branches or call the call center.
19. If I would like to shorten my loan tenor from the existing loan tenor, can I shorten the tenor?
Yes, Customer may require paying higher percentage of down payment to the bank to fulfill DSR ration for loan repayment.
20. What kind of situation home loan can be rejected?
The property which are not included in MAB accepted land types or the property ownership documents are not qualified enough to evaluate for loan assessment.
21. What kind of situation home loan can be rejected?
The customer will receive the ownership documents once the repayment (Principal + Interest) and other outstanding balances have been paid to the MAB.
