2FA is a two-step verification process. One-Time Password, which is a unique 6-character code generated from MAB eToken when you are executing financial transactions using MAB iBanking or Mobile Banking services. You will need to input the OTP after entering your MAB Online banking user ID and password in order to complete the transactions.

2FA is applicable for every financial transactions and some non-financial transactions.

You can enable your biometric (facial ID or finger print) as per your device capability.

You must be at least 18 years old, have an NRC, and a bank account with MAB in order to open a retail account.

Manage Beneficiary is a process that needs to be set up to pay to another party. Favorite is a feature where customers can save the transaction to be able to pay again. Favorites can be saved only after the transaction is done.

For security reasons, you cannot change your mobile number and email address online. If you want to change those, please go to the nearest MAB branch.

Request Statement is where you can choose the selected period of transactions, view the statement and download it immediately.

Account Statement is where you can view the request statement record.

You can view from the account opening date, although you can only view for 90 days on iBanking.

All iBanking transactions and transfers must be verified with authorized credentials (User Name, Password and OTP). It is your responsibility to secure your authorized credentials. Hence, any transaction liability associated with compromised credentials remains with the respective account holder.

There will be multiple levels of security barriers for anyone to use your MAB iBanking installed in your lost mobile phone.
1. Your phone will be locked so that someone else cannot access it.
2. They need to have access to both your user name and password to login to MAB iBanking.
3. It is better to inform the bank about lost devices and lock your iBanking account as soon as possible.

Your password should:
• Have 6 to 12 characters
• Have uppercase (minimum 1 mandatory)
• Have lowercase ((minimum1 mandatory)
• Have numbers (minimum 1 mandatory)

The Maker role can only create transactions whereby Checker/ Approver can approve the transactions. This enables dual control of the company account.

MAB eToken is an authentication application that generates a OTP whenever you are doing financial transactions. In the upgraded iBanking system, the eToken App (software token) can be used for two-factor authentication in making transactions instead of the RSA Token device.

No, the current RSA token will not be available for use anymore and you will need to use the new iBanking eToken only. The iBanking eToken app will be available on the Play Store and App Store for your download.
