2FA is a two-step verification process. One-Time Password, which is a unique 6-character code generated from MAB eToken when you are executing financial transactions using MAB iBanking or Mobile Banking services. You will need to input the OTP after entering your MAB Online banking user ID and password in order to complete the transactions.
2FA is applicable for every financial transactions and some non-financial transactions.

There will be multiple levels of security barriers for anyone to use your MAB iBanking installed in your lost mobile phone. 1. Your phone will be locked so that someone else cannot access it. 2. They need to have access to both your user name and password to login to MAB iBanking. 3. It is better to inform the bank about lost devices and lock your iBanking account as soon as possible.
