MAB VISA Classic Credit Card is an internationally use credit card which can be used for payment of goods & services (POS), cash withdrawal (ATM) and online payment. You can do payment with these cards for VISA logo locations in everywhere both in local and in foreign country.

MAB Visa Credit card provides a convenient way of taking loan from a bank to pay for personal use. You can do payment with these cards for Visa logo locations in everywhere both in local and in foreign country.
Two types of credit cards offered by MAB bank are VISA Classic Credit Card and Visa Platinum Credit Card.
The minimum age for principal applicant is 21 years old and the minimum monthly income for Classic Card is MMK 250,000 and Platinum Card is MMK 1,500,000.
An additional credit card that you can apply for family member which issued under the same account as the primary card holder and the credit limit is shared between primary and supplementary cardholder.
Principal cardholder’s spouse, parents or children who are 16 years old and above are eligible to apply for this card.
Simple, secure and quick payment can be done easily just by tapping the card.
The transaction currency for domestic transaction is at the discretion of merchants accepting the card for payment. It can either be on MMK or USD. If the transaction currency is USD, this will be converted to equivalent to MMK using prevailing exchange rate.
The transaction currency for overseas transactions depend on transaction currency of the respective countries. The transaction currency will be converted to MMK using the prevailing exchange rate set by VISA International.
The billing currency shown in your statement of account is, therefore, always MMK.
Credit Limit is the available amount you can spend on your credit account. It depends on the types of cards, the maximum credit limit is 2,500,000 kyats.
It is allowed to use for 5 years. (Card Duration is on the card).

2 supplementary cards can be applied.
The interest free period ranges from 15 to 45 days depending on day the transaction is performed. Interest free period will only be applicable to purchase transactions only provided full payment is made. For ATM Cash Withdrawal transactions, the interest runs from the date of transaction.
The prevailing interest is 13% per annum and it is calculated on a daily rest basis. However, the interest rate may be subject to change.
For now, the statement billing date falls on the 25th of each month. However, this may be changed at the Bank’s discretion and you will be notified of any such change.
If customers don’t make the full payment or minimum payment on due date, late fee and a penalty fee will be levied.
The minimum payment due is 10% of the total amount appearing in the card statement of the account or MMK 5,000 which is the higher to be paid by the stipulated payment due date.
A Penalty fee is charged when you fail to make the full payment by the payment due date. If only minimum payment is made on payment due date, a 1% penalty fee will be charged on your credit card account.
A 2% late fee is charged if you fail to make the minimum payment on payment due date. To avoid paying late fee, please ensure you make the minimum payment by payment due date.
This could be due to many reasons, some of which are:
MAB Branch staff will assist you to activate the card at the time you call at the branch to collect your card. You will be immediately requested to change your PIN to a PIN of your choice at the branch ATM.
PIN means the 6-digit personal identification number issued to the cardholder to enable the cardholder to use the Card through an ATM.
You can change your PIN No. using any MAB ATM.
You can request a PIN change at any MAB branch.
You can make repayment to your card account using the following modes:
If you exceed your credit limit, an Overlimit fee will be charged, calculated at 2% on the amount in excess of your credit limit.
The principal cardholder is fully liable for all outstandings due on the card including outstandings due on all supplementary cards tagged to the primary card.
You can block your card yourself via Internet Banking or call our Customer Help desk Service (Telephone No: (+951- 8610 612) to report the lost or stolen of the card.
You may visit any MAB branch or make a call to our Customer Help desk Service (Telephone No: +951- 8610 612) to request a replacement card.
